2024 Season Info
Joining Riverside means entering a competitive environment where ultimate frisbee is more than just a game—it's a passion. You'll join a close-knit group of players who love the challenge of competitive play. On the field, we focus on strategy, skill, and teamwork, pushing each other to excel. Off the field, we're a supportive community of friends. Riverside isn't just a team; it's an opportunity to be part of a group that shares your love for ultimate frisbee and your commitment to excellence.
Tryouts for Riverside will be on April 21st and 28th as part of the Austin Ultimate Club Combine. Register at austinultimate.org/e/2024-club-combine
As a competitive travel team, there is a financial burden associated with playing with Riverside. Team fees (covering practice fields, coaching, and tournament fees) are expected to be $300 - 500 for the 2024 season. This does not include travel or lodging.
In addition to the team fees, players will be expected to attend the following tournaments and pay associated travel costs:
Club Centex, June 1st - 2nd (Round Rock, TX)
Texas Two Finger, June 29th - 30th (Plano, TX)
Riverside Classic, July 13th - 14th (Round Rock, TX)
Ski Town Classic, August 17th - 18th (Salt Lake City, UT)
Sectionals, September 7th - 8th or 14th - 15th (TBD, TX)
Regionals, September 21st - 22nd (Denver, CO)
Riverside is committed to ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent any interested and capable player from participating in our club. Please reach out to the captains to inquire about financial aid to help with team fees or travel costs.

2024 Messengers
Messengers is Riverside's developmental team. Messengers will be practicing at the same times as Riverside and attend many of the same tournaments.
As a developmental team, financial accessibility is a key tenet of Messengers' structure. Team fees (covering practice fields and tournament fees) are expected to be $150 - 200 for the 2024 season. This does not include limited travel and lodging costs to attend the in-state tournament that Messengers expects to attend.
